Terms & Acceptable Use

These terms govern the use of tallest.company (“Tallest.company”, “the platform”), which is operated by Devoic Skilltech & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”). By buying or holding a placement, or by submitting anything that appears on the platform, you agree to them. If you are acting for a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so on its behalf.

01What the platform is

Tallest.company is a paid ranking board drawn as a 3D skyline. Companies pay to hold a position on a public ladder; rank is expressed as the height of a building in the scene. Only one position is ever for sale — #1. Rank is your cumulative spend, so being outbid moves you down without erasing what you have paid.

A placement is a display listing. It is not an endorsement, a review, an award, a certification, or a statement by us about the company shown. It is an advertisement whose position was bought.

02What you submit

A placement takes your website address. From it we read publicly available metadata — your name, a one-line description, your icon and your theme colour — and you may then edit the description, choose your tower’s colour, pick a sector, and optionally raise a hiring board with a link to your careers page.

You are responsible for everything you submit or that we read from a site you give us: the website address, the name, the description, the icon, the sector and the hiring link. You confirm you own or are licensed to use it, and that publishing it here infringes nobody else’s rights.

03Acceptable use — what may not be published

The platform is a business directory. The following are prohibited, whether they appear in a name, a description, an icon, a hiring board, a submitted website address, or any link on or reachable from any of those.

Adult content

You may not upload, submit, publish or display adult content of any kind. This includes pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive imagery or text, nudity, escort or sexual services, adult webcam or subscription services, adult toys and merchandise, and any other sexually oriented material.
You may not link to adult content, and you may not submit a website, hiring link or any other URL that hosts, promotes, aggregates or redirects to it.
Companies whose business is adult content or adult services may not buy a placement, regardless of how the listing itself is worded.
Content that sexualises minors is prohibited absolutely, is reported to law enforcement, and results in a permanent ban.

Links to illegal websites and illegal content

You may not publish, submit or link to any website that is illegal, or that offers, facilitates or promotes illegal goods, services or activity. This includes, without limitation: illegal drugs and controlled substances; weapons, explosives and their unlawful sale; counterfeit goods; pirated software, media or other infringing material; stolen or hacked data, credentials and accounts; hacking, malware, spyware, phishing or credential-stuffing tools and services; darknet marketplaces; human trafficking; money laundering and unlicensed money transmission; fraudulent, deceptive or unlicensed financial, investment or cryptocurrency schemes, including Ponzi and pyramid schemes; unlicensed pharmaceuticals; forged documents and identity fraud; and unlawful gambling.
You may not use a placement to route traffic to prohibited material by any means — including redirects, link shorteners, cloaking, an interstitial page, or a site that is compliant when submitted and changed afterwards.

Also prohibited

Impersonation. Claiming a brand, domain or company you are not authorised to represent, or using another party’s name, logo or trade marks without permission.
Hate, violence and harassment. Content that attacks, degrades or incites violence against people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease; content that promotes terrorism, extremism or self-harm; and content that harasses or targets a private individual.
Malware and security abuse. Links that distribute malicious code, mine cryptocurrency without consent, or attempt to compromise a visitor’s device or accounts.
Deception. False or misleading claims about a company, its products, its funding, its results, or its relationship with anyone else, including us.
Other people’s personal data. Publishing personal information about anyone without their consent.
Abuse of the platform itself. Automated or scripted bidding, attempts to manipulate the ladder outside the published bidding rules, submitting placements you do not intend to pay for, or interfering with the service or its infrastructure.

04Review, removal and enforcement

We review submissions and may review any placement at any time after it goes up. We may refuse, edit, hide or permanently remove any placement, description, icon, hiring board or link, and suspend or ban a company or buyer, at our sole discretion and without notice, where we believe these rules have been broken or where a listing exposes us, our payment processor or our visitors to legal or reputational risk.

A placement removed for breaking these rules is not refunded, and the amount paid stops counting towards rank. Where the breach is serious or illegal, we will report it to our payment processor and, where appropriate, to law enforcement.

05Reporting a placement

To report a placement that breaks these rules — adult content, a link to an illegal site, impersonation, or anything else on this page — email growthsq.in@gmail.com with the company name or domain and what is wrong with it.

We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days. Content that is clearly illegal is removed as soon as we see it, ahead of any reply.

06Payment, pricing and refunds

Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. The price to take #1 is set by the ladder — it is whatever it costs to beat the current leader’s total — and is shown before you pay. You may choose to pay more than the asking price.

A losing bid is never charged: if your bid no longer clears the bar it is re-quoted before any payment page opens, so nothing reaches the processor.

A placement is delivered immediately on successful payment and is non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law or granted at our discretion. In particular, being outbid is not grounds for a refund — it is the product working as described, and what you paid still counts towards your rank. Opening a chargeback removes the placement while it is investigated.

07Availability and liability

The platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular level of traffic or attention, any commercial result from a placement, or that the ladder will exist indefinitely. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not responsible for the content of any third-party website linked from a placement. Companies listed here are not vetted, verified or endorsed by us beyond the rules on this page.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to hold a placement after that date means the updated terms apply to you. Material changes to the acceptable use rules apply to existing placements as well as new ones.

09Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
